It has been a loooong week. Elijah finally, after endless months of teething, got his first tooth. Unfortunately, I think the 2nd one is going to be coming through anytime now. This means Elijah has been extremely fussy. I cannot wait for it to finally poke through. Then we can maybe have some relief for a little while. He's following pretty close to how Claire was. She got her first tooth at around 7 months, and her second came shortly thereafter. Then she didn't get anymore until after her first birthday.
Speaking of Claire, she is obsessed with birthday's, and is always having pretend birthday parties in her room. She is so excited for her birthday party next month. I can't believe she is going to be 3. She is such a little lady now. When I ask her to please pick up her toys in her room, she tells me that she too busy. She talks so well, and many people are surprised at how well she can speak for how old she is.
Elijah is not officially crawling yet, but he is doing an army crawl. Surprisingly he is starting to be able to pull himself to standing with furniture. It's time to move his mattress to the bottom setting so he doesn't fall out of his crib. Claire was about 7 months when she was doing this too, but she was crawling by 6 months. I guess I expected him to crawl for a while before I had to worry about this. My baby boy is getting so big so fast!!!
