Remembering the days.....

I ran to the store on saturday to "pick up a few things" and left $100 later. Grocery shopping is so expensive these days! I remember when I could pick up a few things for under $50. Gone are the days when $250-$300 would feed our family for a month. While I'm at it, I remember when I first turned 16 and gas prices were around $0.87/gallon. That seems so insane now. I remember being so upset when they went up to $1.30, thinking how expensive that was. I would be happy now if it went down to $3.00/gallon. Maybe one day we'll look back at the good days when gas was under $4.00/gallon :)

First day of preschool!

Claire started preschool last week! She loves it and I love the extra time each week to get things done. Elijah sleeps during her preschool time, so it works out perfect for me to get my work done or some house cleaning. She looked so cute and was so excited to go. Here are a couple pictures we took on the porch on her first day. On her second day of school, she was wondering why we didn't take more pictures on the porch :)
