Remembering the days.....

I ran to the store on saturday to "pick up a few things" and left $100 later. Grocery shopping is so expensive these days! I remember when I could pick up a few things for under $50. Gone are the days when $250-$300 would feed our family for a month. While I'm at it, I remember when I first turned 16 and gas prices were around $0.87/gallon. That seems so insane now. I remember being so upset when they went up to $1.30, thinking how expensive that was. I would be happy now if it went down to $3.00/gallon. Maybe one day we'll look back at the good days when gas was under $4.00/gallon :)

I totally agree, it's amazing to see how much prices have risen. gone are the good old days.

I know, it is terrible how expensive everything is! I think we still try to make it on $400 a month for groceries. It has worked pretty well with LOTS of coupons on things we already buy. Try couponsurfer.com for online coupons. I have been doing better on my grocery budget. But yeah, it just seems crazy to spend what we do on everything.

Oh this is so funny. You talk like you're old. And you're not old because if you're old, what does that make me?

.87 cents. Crazy. I honestly don't remember it ever being that low. I no what you mean with the food for a month. Call me this week, Monday would be great. Mornings around 10 are probably the best.
